In computer class JP through 2nd grade students learn computer terminology and how to navigate the computer to gain access to websites that encourage early reading. They also have fun creating their own art in the Microsoft Paint program.

In grades 3 and 4 students utilize BrainPOP, an online program that incorporates learning computer skills with subjects including Science, History, English, Math, Arts and Music.

Students in 5th grade have access to the previously mentioned programs and will learn keyboarding skills through the use of the Mavis Beacon program. Beginning in 6th grade students learn Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word programs, and become fully proficient in these programs as they move on to high school.
