CAPA

The Carden Academy Parent Association, CAPA, was organized by our parents to enhance their children’s social and academic experience at Carden Academy. Every parent is a member of CAPA and will have an opportunity to get involved at whatever level possible.

CAPA is organized with a President and three Vice Presidents: VP of Classroom Coordinators and Class Activities, VP of Special Events and Fundraising, and VP of New Program Implementation; as well as a Treasurer and a Secretary. All Classroom Coordinators, specific committees, and all subcommittees fall under these positions.

CAPA holds several meeting throughout the year. It is important for parents to attend. The dates and times are listed on the school calendar. Please read CAPA’s emails and the CAPA newsletters. Also, please attend CAPA events and volunteer when needed. Your participation is a critical component in your child's experience.

CAPA’s Mission: The mission of CAPA is to establish a long-standing relationship between Carden and its family of parents, students, and the community; to support our children's academic and social experiences at Carden Academy; and to make sure the staff and teachers of Carden know they are appreciated.
